I don’t want to arrive on your wedding day feeling like a stranger with a camera.
Before every wedding, I sit down with my couples—over coffee, lunch, or however feels most comfortable—to talk through everything.
Your story. Your people. Your timeline. The photographs you absolutely have to have. The family dynamics I should know about. The sentimental details. The things you’re nervous about. And most importantly, how you want your wedding day to feel.
By the time your wedding arrives, I want you to feel like the person behind the camera already knows you.
That relationship piece is actually already part of how you describe your process on the current site, and I’d make it much more prominent because it sets you apart.
The Beginning
Every wedding collection includes a complimentary engagement session.
Not just because engagement photos are beautiful—although they absolutely are.
Your engagement session gives us a chance to spend time together before the wedding, helps you get comfortable in front of my camera, and gives me a chance to learn how the two of you naturally interact.
We'll choose a location and overall feel that reflects you as a couple, whether that's romantic and elegant, adventurous, country, downtown, cozy, or completely laid-back. Your current site already says every wedding package includes that complimentary engagement session and that you choose the location based on the couple’s personality and wedding style.
And yes—you'll also walk away with beautiful images for save-the-dates, invitations, your wedding website, and your home.
But more than anything?
It becomes the first chapter we photograph together.
The Big Day
From the quiet moments of getting ready to the moment you say “I do,” your wedding day is made up of hundreds of little pieces. The details you carefully chose, the people you love most, the happy tears, the first kiss, the speeches, the dancing, and all the wonderfully unplanned moments in between. I’m there to preserve the whole story—not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt.
